I’m Vincent Soo, a Certified Relationship Coach, a Certified Infidelity Recovery Coach, and a Certified Coach (ICF-Approved Coach Training Program). I am also a Certified Gottman Educator of “The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work” Couples Program, as well as trained in Level 1 & 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Other than that, I hold a Masters of Social Science (Counselling) and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology).
As a Certified Relationship Coach, I coach and guide individuals and couples to design, build and maintain their authentic relationship. I would never have imagined myself walking the professional path of a certified relationship coach, certified affair recovery coach and marriage counsellor, as I am an introvert and used to be a shy boy who had lacked confidence and low self-esteem.
For the past 17 years, I have helped married couples in their 20s to 50s, who are mostly working professionals and entrepreneurs, married for 5 years and above, who are experiencing marital challenges, or involved in extra-marital affairs, I have coached them to rebuild connection, resolve conflicts and restore love for each other to enjoy a fulfilling marriage.
I am also an Integrative Trauma Recovery Coach and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I am not just a typical trauma recovery coach and therapist. Having encountered his traumatic experiences in my childhood and teenage years, and with over 17 years of professional coaching and counselling experiences, I help individuals and couples to heal from the emotional pain of their childhood trauma and complex trauma. I work with individuals to transform and heal from their traumatic experiences, turning their pain and suffering into strengths, resilience, and growth. I am also an author of my new book – Threads of H.O.P.E.: Weaving Resilience through Complex Trauma.
I have been recognized as one of the Top Relationship Coaches by the Coach Foundation in 2023. I was interviewed by the MediaCorp Radio 938LIVE in Feb 2014 on “How To Build A Positive Relationship With Your Child?” and Mar 2014 on “How To Build A Positive Relationship As A Couple? and Channel News Asia (CNA) in Jun 2018 on “Art And Mental Health”.
Other than coaching and therapy; I lead two support groups where people can find understanding, support, and knowledge, making their future brighter. With years of research and working with the trauma survivors, I have developed the Accelerated Trauma Recovery Coaching (ATRC) method, a dynamic and rapid therapeutic intervention that emphasizes the mind-body connection that aims at helping individuals who have experienced trauma.
