I am a born and breed country boy. Love the outdoors and working with the land. I have to remind myself sometimes how lucky I am, because the views are stunning.
I decided to become a coach after a serious head knock 20 months ago, left me concussed, no energy and sliding down a slippery path. The bottom came 8 months later, when I realise that I was burnt out. I was done and asked for help. But where do I go and who do I ask, that will understand how I think was not easy. I eventually found and mental health coach, who started me on the path for 6 weeks. But then I stopped, thinking that’s all I would need. That wasn’t true. 12 months later I meet a mindset coach, who showed me what it was like to have a permanent coach and was pleasantly surprised by the slow but steady progress that I was making. What really brings joy to me, is others can see the growth, and that is powerful.
This needs to be put out there so more farmers can have the joy I get today.
